The need for volunteers is greater than it's ever been. You can volunteer even if you have no special knowledge or training! All training needed is provided by the Department, and you can serve your community with as little as a driver's license and a CPR card, or get as much training as your interest and abilities make you want to go.

 

Those who volunteer with the Marion Fire Department or Marion FD Ambulance will tell you that there is no feeling quite like knowing that you have saved a life, or saved someone's property, and helped them through one of the most difficult experiences of their life.Knowing that you can make that kind of a contribution to your communityis, as the commercial says, priceless.
